What are Lofo Coins? How can I use them?

Lofo Coins are used to revealed advanced content of a lost-item listing, to reveal detailed information such as location where it's found, time at which it's reported, detailed description of the item, pictures, finder's information, and etc. 
It costs 30 LoFo Coins to reveal details for one lost-item listing and the information will be permanently available to you. You may also contact the store/finder via in-app messaging.

Do I have to tip the store / person that found my item?

Official law states that the finder has the right to ask for a maximum of 10% of the item's current value. We courage everyone to show a little bit of appreciation. You can choose to tip or to send gifts such as a cup of coffee.

What advanced content is available per listing?

Information such as the location/address where the item is found, up to 4 pictures of the item, title, desription, reported time, and the place where the item is currently held at. However, not every single item has all of above available. 

How can I search for my lost item?

You can search it via general browsing, or via filters like product category, location (just move the map to where you lost it and it'll show nearby reported items), store name where you lost it at, or you can just type in a few keywords that describe your item. Just scroll through the images and you will quickly find your item.

I just saw my item on LoFo. How can I claim it?

1. Contact the store / finder via phone, email, or LoFo in-app messaging. Be prepared to have your photo taken and we also need one of your picture ID (e.g. driver's license). These records will be saved to LoFo's secured cloud location to prevent for possible dispute. Then, decide if you want to show your appreciation by rewarding the store / finder with some tips and gifts. Lastly, have the store / person scan your Claim-QRCode or simply tell him your account ID (So the store could tell LoFo system it's been claimed), and you're all done! Congratulations for finding your item!

What's advantage of using LoFo APP to report any lost items that I found?

With a few taps in a few seconds, you will have the information available online so the person can easily locate his/her lost items. Also, you will possibly get rewarded if the person comes to claim the item. By reporting it, you can also rightfully say and prove you're honest and do not wish possess it as your own. 

If I found some inappropriate listing, how can I report it to LoFo team?

There's a "Report Abuse" button on the bottom right corner of the listing page. Once you've reported it, we will review it and refund you your LoFo Coins if applicatable.
